Doodles by Pacific Knit Co. are modern, modular patterns that allow makers to design and knit exactly what they want within an easy to follow framework. Because every motif works with every pattern shape, Doodle Patterns enable endless customization within one pattern!
This pattern is knit in the round. After the ribbing, you'll knit a series of colorwork motifs, before ending with a spiral crown decrease.
SIZES
Approx. 14, 16, 18 (20, 22, 24) in [35, 40, 45 (50, 55, 60) cm] circumference
Approx. 6.5, 7, 7.5 (8, 8.5, 9) in [16, 17.5, 19 (20, 21.5, 22.5) cm] height
YARN
Any DK weight yarn that meets gauge. Doodles are designed to use leftover yarn, yarn advents, or any other small batches of colorways in your stash. Yarn shown is a suggestion from the Designer. Alternative yarns are encouraged.
Sample uses Student Council DK, 75% Superwash Merino, 25% Nylon by Huephoria Fibers, 100g, 246 yards [225 m]. Color: 2026 Wool & Holly kit.
Yardage listed in total yards per size in colorwork due to the customizable nature of this pattern.

NEEDLES
US 5/3.75 mm or size needed to obtain gauge
One size smaller needle for ribbing (optional)
16 in [40 cm] circular needles + DPNs or magic loop for crown
GAUGE
24 sts & 24 rnds per 4 in [10 cm]
NOTIONS
Stitch markers (one in different color)
Scissors & Tapestry needle
Pom Pom (optional, but fun)
SPECIAL TECHNIQUES
Special techniques include (optional) stranded colorwork in the round, twisted ribbing, and decreases.
