Created in 2020, Doodles by Pacific Knit Co. have ignited something unique in the fiber community β a modern and fun movement to empower makers to learn to design and knit exactly what they want.
Doodles are whimsical & modular colorwork patterns with an easy-to-follow framework. Every pattern and chart across the entire Doodle library is designed to fit together seamlessly, allowing for complete customization.
Beyond patterns, we also work to curate a full tutorial library, so that customers have all the resources they need to learn new skills and make our products as easy as possible to use.

Jamie Lomax (she/her)
Owner & Creative Director
Favorite Doodle: Whatever I'm currently working on!
Jamie is the founder and designer behind Doodles by Pacific Knit Co. Her background in design, standards, and technical writing combines creativity with user experience and helped her create a system of mix-and-match patterns and charts which has grown into the Doodle Framework, and everything fun and unique about Doodling!
She loves colorwork knitting and how it feels like "doodling with yarn", in that a fiber-y illustration is created, line by line as you knit the pattern.Β After designing the first Doodle pattern in 2020, she's now expanded the concept into over 35 themes and 11 base pattern shapes, with more patterns coming all the time! When she's not knitting (and designing) she spends time with her husband, two young kiddos, and her fluffy corgi, Freddie!

Favorite Doodle: All the ghosts!
Grey is a self-taught knitter with over a decade of experience in modifying patterns and knitting outside the box. They always have the newest Base Doodle Pattern on their needles, but they were also the sample knitter for some of Jamie's earliest non-Doodle colorwork patterns! With a professional background in everything from therapy to retail, they help manage customer questions and contribute ideas and writing to all our amazing Doodle resources.

An avid Doodle fan from the beginning, Erin's many years of experience with knitting, sales, and convention booth staffing gave her the perfect skillset to add to the Doodle Team. She loves the flexibility and creativity that Doodling knitting encourages, and always has her next (endlessly inventive) Doodle Project on the needles. When she's not packing orders and managing our warehouse, you'll often see our resident extrovert at yarn events and shows, happily spreading her love of knitting!Β

Sarah brings over 20 years of knitting experience to our team, as well as tons of creativity and dedication to everything she does! She loves how approachable Doodles are to someone who has never done colorwork and how customizable they are to tell your story. Based in sunny Phoenix, AZ, Sarah is the organizational powerhouse behind all of our Test Knits, pattern releases, and event management.Β

Our Company Values
Doodles by Pacific Knit Co. is a small, family-run business located in Seattle, WA.
Every member our team is neurodivergent in one way or another, and this is reflected in how we work and create. We work flexible hours and may sometimes need time away from our computers to support our families or our mental health. Employee wellbeing is a priority, and we support our team's accommodations and work-life balance.
All of our pattern designs, charts, and illustrations are created by our founder and designer, Jamie Lomax.
Our signature Doodle Decks are all printed in the USA and distributed out of Seattle, WA (or one of our select regional distributors).
