Monster Doodle Cowl (Single-Sided)
THE MONSTER DOODLE STANDARD COWL This pattern is worked in the round, beginning with a ribbed bottom edge, followed by stranded colorwork, and finishing in ribbing along the top edge.
This is a Doodle Series Pattern, which means it includes micro charts intended to be used as mix-and-match colorwork motifs throughout the project. This “monster doodle” is inspired by all your favorite scary Halloween monsters and creepy creatures! Or you can substitute ANY other Doodle charts!

- Approx. (1) 100g skein main color and (3-6) 20g skeins accent colors
NOTE: Tapered version will use slightly less yardage than the standard cowl due to the decreases near the top of the cowl.
NEEDLES
Main Fabric: US 5/3.75 mm or size to obtain gauge
Ribbing: US 4/3.5 mm or one size smaller than gauge
24 or 32 in [60 or 80 cm] circular needles, depending on size selected
GAUGE
24 sts and 24 rows per 4 in [10 cm] in colorwork
NOTIONS
5 (6, 7) removable stitch markers (one in different color)
