THE DFW DOODLE was designed to release at DFW Fiber Festival 2024 in Irving, TX. It features the iconic shape of the great state of Texas with a heart central to the motif.
The DFW Doodle includes ONE chart (state shape) plus charts to add text for "DFW Fiber Fest 2024".

This is a Doodle Series Pattern. Use the charts in this pattern, or you can substitute ANY other Doodle charts!
This pattern is worked in the round as a tube, from side to side. Beginning with a provisional cast on, the stranded colorwork is then knit to desired finished circumference. Then the two ends are grafted together for a seamless infinity cowl, with or without a twist.
SIZES
Approx. 14, 18, 22 (26, 30, 34) in [36, 46, 56 (66, 76, 86) cm] finished cowl circumference.
YARN
Any DK, light worsted, or sport weight yarn that meets gauge. Doodles are designed to use leftover yarn, yarn advents, or any other small batches of colorways in your stash. Yarn shown is a suggestion from the Designer. Alternative yarns are encouraged.
Sample uses Yarnaceous Fibers & Fangirl Fibers.
Yardage listed in total yards per size in colorwork due to the customizable nature of this pattern.
- 320, 415, 630 (750, 865, 980) yards

NEEDLES
US 5/3.75 mm or size needed to obtain gauge
24 in [60 cm] circular needles
GAUGE
24 sts & 24 rounds per 4 in [10 cm] in colorwork
NOTIONS
Stitch markers (one in different color)
Spare circular needle for grafting of same size or smaller
Waste yarn and crochet hook for provisional cast on
Scissors & Tapestry needle
