This is a Doodle Series Pattern, which means it includes micro charts intended to be used as mix-and-match colorwork motifs throughout the project. Use the charts in this pattern, or you can substitute ANY other Doodle charts!
This hat is knit starting with a folded ribbed brim, followed by a section of stranded colorwork, and finished with standard crown decreases.
SIZES
Approx. 14, 16, 18 (20, 22, 24) in [35, 40, 45 (50, 55, 60) cm] circumference.
Approx. 6.5, 7, 7.5 (8, 8.5, 9) in [16, 17.5, 19 (20, 21.5, 22.5) cm] height.
YARN
Any DK, light worsted, or sport weight yarn that meets gauge. Doodles are designed to use leftover yarn, yarn advents, or any other small batches of colorways in your stash. Yarn shown is a suggestion from the Designer. Alternative yarns are encouraged.
Sample uses Astro Worsted, 100% Peruvian Highland Wool by Nanostitch Lab, 50g 123yards [112 m].
Yardage listed in total yards per size in colorwork due to the customizable nature of this pattern.

US 5/3.75 mm or size needed to obtain gauge
One size smaller needle for ribbing (optional)
16 in [40 cm] circular needles + Magic Loop or DPNs for crown decreases
GAUGE
24 sts & 24 rounds per 4 in [10 cm] in colorwork
NOTIONS
Stitch markers (one in different color)
Scissors & Tapestry needle
SPECIAL TECHNIQUES
Special techniques include stranded colorwork in the round, ribbing, and decreases.
