This pattern plays with mixing colorwork and texture to create a “woven” finish. Inspired by visible mending, this interlocking pattern lets knitters choose how yarns come together to create different blends of color, weight, and/or fiber content.

- Exact yardage will differ depending on whether you use multi-color or single-color charts. For general yardage information, I’ve combined total CC yards.
- Main Color (MC): 135, 200 (240, 450, 500) yards 124, 183 (220, 411, 457) m
- Combined Contrast Colors (CC#): 105, 200 (325, 400, 437) yards 96, 183 (297, 365, 400) m
- For each repeat of a CC, have approx. 30 yards [27 m]. Sample uses approx. 60 yards [54 m] white, 90 yards [82 m] gold, and 150 yards [137 m] grey.
Suggested Needles
- US 4/3.50 mm or size needed to obtain gauge
- 16 or 24 in [40 or 60 cm] circular needles based on size
- NOTE: To maintain consistent gauge through project, you may want to go up a needle size for seed stich. Try swatching in both colorwork and stockinette if unsure.
