Basic Doodle (Reversible Cowl)
To purchase on Ravelry, see Basic Doodle (Reversible Cowl).
THE BASIC DOODLE was inspired by the simple joy of minimalist, geometric knitting motifs. Perfect to add to other sets, or striking on their own to create a beautiful, wear-year-round knit!
The 26 featured Basic Doodle Charts include various non-thematic, geometric charts that are great for filler motifs paired with other charts, or for knitting up a simple, timeless colorwork project.
This listing is for a DIGITAL DOWNLOAD for a FULL PATTERN. To view additional options, please see Basic Doodle Collection.
This is a Doodle Series Pattern, which means it includes micro charts intended to be used as mix-and-match colorwork motifs throughout the project. Use the charts in this pattern, or you can substitute ANY other Doodle charts!
This pattern is worked in the round as a tube, from the bottom up. Beginning with a provisional cast on and a purl edge, the exterior colorwork is worked, then a purled transition row, after which the interior colorwork is worked. The final cowl is folded in on itself and grafted together, creating a reversible, double-thick cowl.
