THE 2024 SUMMER DOODLE CUP COZY is a simple cup cozy pattern is ideal for learning colorwork, gift knitting, or swatching your Doodle Charts in the round.

The 6 Summer Cup Cozy Charts include ants on a picnic blanket, picnic baskets, sunglasses, ice cream cones, watermelon slices, and popsicles!
Note: Summer Cup Cozy download includes only 6 charts.

This is a Doodle Series Pattern, which means it includes micro charts intended to be used as mix-and-match colorwork motifs throughout the project. Use the charts in this pattern, or you can substitute ANY other Doodle charts!

The Doodle Cup Cozy pattern is worked in the round on small circumference needles, magic loop, or DPNs. Begin with a short ribbing, work your colorwork, and end with a short ribbing.

SIZES 

One size, adjustable by changing gauge.

YARN 

Any DK, light worsted, or sport weight yarn, in 2-3 colors. Doodles are designed to use leftover yarn, yarn advents, or any other small batches of colorways in your stash. Yarn shown is a suggestion from the Designer. Alternative yarns are encouraged.

Sample uses Fangirl Fibers and Yarnaceous Fibers.

Approx. 15-20g per cozy.

NEEDLES 

US 5/3.75 mm or size needed to obtain gauge

8 in [20 cm] circular needles, magic loop, or DPNs

GAUGE 

24 sts & 24 rounds per 4 in [10 cm] in colorwork

NOTIONS 

2 stitch markers (one in different color)

Scissors & Tapestry needle

SPECIAL TECHNIQUES

Special techniques include stranded colorwork in the round, and ribbing.
